Awesome!
So here's the things I need written. First, I need church papers for the three gods of the Karithians. Lenaya, goddess of life, Ki'leya, goddess of the sands, and Nenevara, god of the sky.
Lenaya is the favored god of the people, and therefore most popular.
second, I need the story of Reya'la, the prophet of Ki'leya, to be told. It should tell the story of how Reya'la came to the Karithians when their oasis dried up and told them of the wisdom of Ki'leya. The following morning at dawn, he prayed to Ki'leya, and the sands sunk and produced a new water source for the oasis. Reya'la then walked into the desert and was never seen again.
thats pretty much it for now, though I'll be needing some political documents later.

Alright, I'll get started ASAP. Just started school so I may not have extra time right off the bat, but I have a feeling things will slow down a little bit. Is there any particular time you'd like to have this finished, or at least a draft finished? If time permits, I plan on writing one version of each, posting either examples or the whole thing depending on how long they turn out to be, and see if you like them or not.
By the way, are there any key city, tribe or encampment names I should be aware of? Perhaps the name of the waterway? Or should I just take artistic liberty with that kind of stuff? It'd be good to know so I can give it a bit of a poetic rhythm if I decide to do it in such a way.

I am happy with whatever you guys come up with. I would advise deciding who the Karith will become (maybe egyptians, phoenicians etc) then start to bring some of the linguistic qualities and so forth of those peoples back a few thousand years. It makes for a depth lacking in most games and mods and gives huge scope for plagiarising history;)

The phoenicians. And to answer your questions IK, it does not matter which you finish first.
I've written a master list of all things Karithian, and I'm adding a new thread here, so you can pick and choose whatever you'd like from there. If you'd like to take a little poetic liberty, names of tribes would be a good thing to do, as their are thousands of tribes (they call themselves clan's so that would be the word to use.) in the desert.

Alright, sounds good. Once you get that new thread up I'll take a gander at it and pull what I need. Meanwhile, school work! Ugh, only the second day and I'm exhausted.

The Phoenicians was just off the top of my head. Thats a good choice, brings in the piracy etc too. NF you have this all well in hand, I downloaded the file you needed. What would you like me to use?

For some odd reason MSN is a nuisance in vista 64bit. when I run it I get all kinds of lock up problems. What I could do through Ipower the main website host is utilise a private direct chat facility. They provide it, host it, back it up etc.

That's strange, seeing as though it's a Microsoft program. Though Vista is just not a very good OS in my opinion. Anyway, I'd be down with that if its in the interest of the others and isn't too much trouble.

Already set up though ipower have a server upgrade or something at the moment so it might take a day or so. MSN worked fine on XP and vista 32 but 64 probs. It might be the new anti virus stuff used by 64OS or maybe the firewall thats not quite adapted.

Must be. I'm not going to Vista for quite a while, not until I absolutely must, which would mean that game companies start going insane and releasing Vista-only games, but at that point the games are probably all going to be crappy for-the-money games.

lets keep it OT boys. xD
I'm working on the Main Quest until I can get my karithian resources all sorted out. I got an incredible idea from a lecture from my IB history of the world class. read the MQ thread for details.
