Hi good to be here, and thanks for the invite.
This mod looks wonderfull, terrain looks magic.
I'd like to know what resources are needed above all else.
In terms of getting the harder stuff done first.
Im willing to learn, and i guess id like to feel put to use, by working on the most pressing material.
A bit of a run down of whats really needed will be great.
Thanks
Tchan
Ciao...

Hello and you are very welcome. Sorry it took a while to reply, regions regions and more regions. The buskers sounds absolutely fantastic. About two years ago I did some anims for the farmers unite mod, a violinist etc. Not sure if they got used though. The reason was that within the capital city at Illusidum are some waterside clubs to coin a 20th century term. The city is split into districts built on islands, some are slums, some are very well to do. The government of the city states is dual. The Amagus (Emperor) or First Consulor to give him his day to day title is the figurehead, the chief priest, the commander of the military and all provinces requiring a military presence. He delegates to the Consulori who are elected by the people and who have an equal role in government (though this fluctuates). Some of the waterfront clubs are the haunts of certain Consulors and wealthy people and of course they will be entertained by musicians. When I did the mod some years ago (threw it all away when the limitations of the then CS were apparent, no LOD beyond cell 128 etc it looked fantastic to sit at a table outside overlooking the docks with the mountains in the distance across lake Hera.)
Anyway buskers in the main parts of the city, absolutely fantastic idea. Its your baby if you want to hold it.
What resources are needed? Absolutely loads. I can bring the land to life with trees and rocks, I can make city models and havok em. If someone said to me however "quick, either do a script, add some armour or clothes, or make an npc or conversation or I will shoot you," then Id be in casualty having the bullet out some hours later.
Its difficult to describe all that needs doing.
A bit of a list then, bearing in mind that all that can be done at present is to get things ready to slot in when the master file is all zipped up and ready:
Models of houses, huts, shacks, hovels, temples, weapons, shields, ooh tonnes of it.
Internals such as generic dungeons. The Ayleid dungeons are excellent for Imperial tombs and the like. Other stuff could be cave complexes and so forth.
An arena! There will be one in each major city and even some pit fighting in the barbarian lands.
Music, entertainers, drinks, potions, magic, creatures, plants, trees. Anything that would fit into a mythological earth 6-10 thousand years ago.

Oh im excited... Buskers.. Ill need animations..
I have a Duduk, which is a very old Armenian instrument, that would fit in with your world...
Plenty of drums, arabian music...(How much of that part of the world is present?)
Tempted to add Flamenco guitar...Mainly the very gypsy, raw stuff...That would be very cool
Can't model, but id like to learn...
The Arena sounds like a LOT of fun....Always wanted to make 'arena' like mods, and pitfighter mods.
Thanks for the info, sounds like fun...
I am fairly busy, but there is time for this. )
Excited about it!

If you can change the guitar into something that looks more ancient, you can still utilise it, add pipes to it and it would sound something like the music from HBO's Rome.

If there were a selection of musicians capable of animations of playing wind string or other instruments, they could also be reused, with different music, in more formal locations. I'm thinking of amphitheatres, public announcements or in the courts of the elites. Plus any decent peasant tavern should have a few musicians!

I did some animations a while back for a violinist that I think went to another mod. We could certainly use some musicians.
