Today I moved the Agaria (slums) into their own world and walled that part of Illusidum off to allow for NPC's. I can now cram in more houses and make it more like ancient Rome. I added two NPC's who are women to test fps. Looks fantastic, barely a flicker of fps at present. Intend to go much further and have up to thirty NPC's about at any one time.

I am going to do a total NPC list so we can work out how to link people into each other and develop plots and quests. Also we can get an idea of names for each race etc.

You've got the interiors and the AI packages sorted out correctly?

No interiors yet, I aim to add them per NPC and then link the AI packages. I am utterly pants at AI however so this will be one HUUUUGGGGGEEEE learning curve. :)

Wish me luck.

Its a pain loading but its not possible to change that without reducing the size of the world, which is too late now. I just consider it a job to do in the morning.I get up, load up the CS then dip in and out during the day, timing save and test, reloads etc with meals, doing other stuff etc.

Yeah, I usually start loading it in the background and go and do other things that need to be done while I wait. Takes about 15 or 20 minutes on my rig. I barely even notice the wait anymore.
