Something I would love to do for the Shealhin is add a little bit of Pictish influence here and allow for either tattoos added to the character at character creation, tattoos being bought at a store (in theory getting the tattoo done there) or go for what it really was and make them a temporary woad tattoo that also gives some buffs and lasts a few hours (in-game) or something.

I have two problems with this.

1) I'm not sure which of the three to do.
2) Regardless of which one I do, I'm not sure how to do it.

Any suggestions for either of my two problems?

You could approach some of the clothing makers at nexus etc and ask their advice. The optional stuff could be good, the trouble would be getting it to fit the shape, clothes and features of individuals. A reskin and a custom race would be quite good, though they would all look pretty much similar. Its a very specialist area but once got right it will look fantastic. I would love to see tribal tattoos on the Sheahlin etc, I am certain it would fit very well.

Yeah, I can reskin the Sheahlin but there'd only be 2 versions, male and female. We could always explain that with some backstory. OR we could always have multiple Sheahlin races. Sheahlin Tribal 1, Sheahlin Tribal 2, Sheahlin Boat, Sheahlin Eagle, Sheahlin Raven, Sheahling Horns, etc.

Possibility, I can see there being different sub races, coastal Sheahlin etc etc. That might work quite well.
