Tebella is a fairly large city of the Karithian people. It is an open city and has a port attached plus a caravanserai on the exterior along with a few small houses for the Caravanserai staff and the port officials.

The city is centred upon a palace with several temples, watch towers and an extensive street system with markets.

Tebella was founded long before the Holorian people arrived in Mesogea. Its earliest written history describes it as a fortified port of the Soth tribe, a coastal Karith people who traded with the desert Karith and with the Aretians to the north. The Soth are not naturally warlike and are traders at heart.

The city is ruled by the Satrap Buchurmu, his full name being Buchurmu Buchulecus Harutamanul (Lion, son of the Lion, the immortal).

Buchurmu is of a long line of interbred rulers, he is supported by the Holorian contingent within the city. The city fell to the Emperor Nicasus and has since been moderately independent but under the sway of the Holorians. There is dissent within the city and Buchurmu is as likely to be assassinated as die of obesity. He is a pampered man who feeds off the wealth of the city. The Karithian inhabitants want rid of him and the Holorians.

Trade is with Aretia (Holorian province to the north), the desert Karith, the coastal Karith along the southern coast and along the river. The river is the River Soth, named after the tribe. Tebella means "kiln".

Each house can be claimed, as can the temples and the palace itself. The palace gardens will need a little work to put a decent path there from the palace.

Doors can be added to the buildings according to the modders taste. Interiors can be anything that is suitable and furniture should be according to the occupants. Please dont add lots of victorian looking stuff - Oblivion is packed with the stuff and it looks awful in a desert setting.

If you need custom content then please say so and I or the other modellers will do our best to provide. I have custom interiors if required and they can be added very easily.

Sounds good. Now we can establish a trade route from Tebella to Ventara to Illusidum! Looking forward to seeing how this develops. :)

I hadnt thought of that. I need to create a road linking them then. Quite an exciting prospect that!

We need to get someone interested in Tebella and the adobe village you might have noticed in the desert. If you follow the road from Ventara, cross the river Efail then turn south at the crossroads after the canyon you'll reach a small four house village. I can extend the road on from there. I will add a caravanserai or two.
