Quest Stage - Testing phase
Quest Area - The town on the trading route in the desert, (-74, -110)
Quest Length - Short
Quest Difficulty - Hard (Reccomended Level 5+ with good armour)
Quest Starting - Find the chest ontop of one of the roofs of the houses
Quest Description - You descove a bloodied note telling you of a bandit camp not far from the town. They could be ambushing the trade cavans at night and may keep their loot at the camp.

Quest Story - After discovering the note you make your way to the bandit camp. There are three bandits that are marked as essential (so you cant kill them before the quest) but they become unessential once you come 2000 yards from the camp. After killing all three you must check for loot, you then discover orders. This confirms that the bandits had a leader.

You must track the leader down, he is close to the town. He's either ontop of a large rock facing the town or standing just below it. He intends to loot the Globe of the World - a Globe made of pure gold which is very valuble. Luckily for them you found out about it and must defeat their leader. This is why it is hard, the other bandits were easy but this guy has almost full enchanted armour with a iron claymore. He's pretty hard at low levels but if you kill him the enchanted armour is nice to wear.

After defeating him you discover a key to his stash which is just below the rock where he should have been. Be warned as he is marked essential until you find the Orders in the bandit camp. This means you can't kill him before the camp so don't go near him. Unlocking the chest will complete the quest and allow you to take the loot, the loot contains:

1 Varla stone
8 Welkyend Stones
1 Tan Cup
1 Tan Jug
300 Gold
Theres more but i cant remember  .

This quest is being tested and should be ready tommorw evening - about 20 hours from this post.

We need to create something different to Varla and Welkynd stones as they are a different lore. Any ideas?

Sounds ok. Shall I do some lore surrounding them? What should they be able to do? That will help me work out their origin.

Sand people, i dunno. Perhaps relics left from the Sand People - those things that kept humans in slavery but they lived as nomads in the deserts - perhaps they used the sand crystals to grant them magicka and the encahnt sand crytals to keep their weapons in excellent condition

The Vandur. Actually I have some very ancient ruins to add into the mod at some point, ancient temple things of the egyptian/aztec/mayan style. I could dirty them up and place them, then use them as the ruins of the Vandur where they conquered and ruled over the deserts.

The sand crystals could be the Glissidia that the Vandur used to speak to each other over distance and to control the elements. It was the misuse of these that led to an ice age.
