Alright, here's what I'm going to do to save some time right now. Going to put back the stock textures, because deleting them only saves about 40 mb's uncompressed. Not that much these days. So I'll put them back because there is a good amount of purple when I load up the game without them. I havent used nifskope much and don't feel ike going through ALL the new meshes to fix them.
I did get the .bsa working, but I had to add it to my Oblivion.ini file, it wasn't working like it should just naming it hiboriamain.bsa . I'll have to play with it more later. I'm going through the architecture folder right now resaving any textures not DXT1 as that.

Good idea, Ive never tried the bsa way, but knew as soon as I looked at it that the ini file would somehow need to be involved. A mod switcher is the only way forward on that.

Well like I said I'm going to play with it, because there *should* be a way not to have to do that. After I get the textures all fixed up then I'll work on getting the .bsa file to work without having to touch the .ini file. Also, what is cool about that is to update we only have to unpack the new files, or make an update program like as described here, which will update anyones .bsa file. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/in ... _BSA_files

Still needs a lot of work. I'm adding flora to the rocks on the fountain as well. Also need a lot more clutter around the inside as well. I suppose some tapestries and whatnot.
I also think I'm going to have to put a bit of rock on the inside of the villa a bit, just so it doesn't seemingly disappear at the wall. Not too much though.

Nice. I posted it at a couple other forums as well, and I think most people liked the new one as well.
