East of the province of Sarachia the old Longdrige way, the now unused overland trade route to the Eastern Empire passes through the Doraean plains, a truly vast grassland and hills fringed to the south by the Doraean mountains and to the north another even more formidable range. The area consists of areas of beast haunted plain, rock outcrops and barbarian villages with the detritus of the Holorian way-forts and caravanserais along the Longridge way itself. Have a look at the screens of the region tests and give me an idea what you think.... what else can we do with the place..

Map of region, very low name detail.

The nearest major trade place is a city called Karisum, half ruined, half barbarian though governed by one of Consulor rank - a nominary title as any consulor of Karisum would barely be taken seriously at the Middenstal - the government building at Illusidum. It would be a good idea to put some trading places out in the Doraean Fields and thereabouts actually, probably be part of the adventure accompanying traders to and from places as a body guard, or going out to retrieve stolen stuff, assasinate some upstart barbarian, save a well known citizens child or wife etc. The feel of this area, the River Arum border is similar to the Roman garrisons upon the Rhine.
