I think (correct me if I'm wrong here guys) in the final version you will start out in Mesogea as it were, there will be a character creation and intro and everything built right in, you will never set foot in tamriel. For the mean time, if you have the mod installed and everything, while in tamriel type into the console "cow hiboria xy" substitute some numbers for x and y. You should end up somewhere in Mesogea.
