Still vast work going on, the master file being complete I am now working on the first of the major locations, the Capranecurum, the long and winding road that coils up into the mountains over the capital city Illusidum, consisting of numerous landmarks, cavern, cave and tomb entrances, literally the gateway to high level adventures. These may lay within sight of the capital city from which many adventurers will set out, but you will need to be a high level player indeed to try your luck here. Indiana Jones would go crying to mother. Pics to follow, well ok heres one:

There really are so many screens now that its silly to keep posting them. Work continues on a daily basis, help from the community is minimal though the encouragement is regular and good. I am still waiting for a community to build around the mod and to assist with this I am releasing the mod with all resources soon.

And still the work continues, well from me anyway. Honestly folks I make the effort and all we get here are tourists. Hate to be rude but you will get out of this what you put in. Those who make the effort will reap the rewards.

A huge thanks to those involved in making this mod work.

So where are we? Well I am preparing the next version of the mod for upload, just adding a few crucial bits.

I will not add any more pics as there are 137 to latest count at the mesogea images forum on imageshack. Go see.

Not too quick though, the capital city has walls and plenty of houses, temples, docks etc in the new update. However there are some equally, if not more beautiful cities, some are larger too so that might be a better bet. Actually with size an issue there are a couple of cities that are simply begging to be done to a greater and more lavish scale. Wait a moment and I will post the gazeteer to go with the map I produced.

I have just done a little pruning and adjusting to the forums. Hopefully this will make things a bit easier. Nightfyre is coming up with some excellent ideas for the mod and the possibility of another entirely human empire is in discussion. With the possibility of new architecture and history this could well be a very exciting prospect.

Awaiting confirmation of the forum upgrade to allow for subforums. This will help very much with place allocation and allow moderators to run sub forums and therefore build up their own teams.

TESNexus now mirror the downloads, the main file hiboriamain.esm is split into 4 parts so that there are optional download locations.

Adding the mamoth which is a mamoth matter in itself, pardon the rubbish pun. As there are now mounted and war mamoth I will adapt them also.

Added a few posts on the main thread trying to raise the profile of the mod. There are about five of us working on the mod occasionally and a few others who have offered to throw in their help soon when they have the chance. Of the hundreds of people who visit the Bethesda forum we are not getting too many responses which although I am not worried about (before I released the mod nobody could care less, I released it and dozens downloaded the thing within hours.

I have no doubt there will be hundreds viewing and downloading the work but what we could do with is a bit more help.

CRASH!

Oh dear. After producing all of the distant land and distant objects I ran the game and kaboom. Back to desktop. Everywhere runs fine but try to go to the capital city Illusidum and CRASH.

So the culprit was some distant meshes. Its clear that making every building distant view is a no no. Some work, some dont so I have decided that major buildings can be distant view, the lesser ones cant. This will save on load time and keep the fps down anyway. Its a shame. I dont know which distant building was the culprit but there we have it.

Back to work now...
